Peanut Butter Protein Balls!
Apr 28, 2022These are so yummy! Who loves peanut butter as much as I do?!
Natural peanut butter that is… please don’t go out and buy the supermarket peanut butter filled with added salt and sugars. Visit your local health food store for the kind that has ‘peanuts’ ONLY on the ingredients list.
These particular peanut butter protein balls are the perfect snack for some pre or post class energy.
I like to make a batch on a Sunday and have one (okay, sometimes two!) of an afternoon before I start teaching. It hits the spot!
I can confirm the recipe makes 24 (depending on how big you roll them) and only costs about 90 cents each. If you purchase bliss balls or protein balls from the health food store they usually cost $2.95 each!
Obviously if you don’t already have some of these ingredients (like protein powder) your initial shop can be expensive. However you can then use the ingredients for a good few weeks – and protein powder lasts forever!
Speaking of protein powder, mix all the ingredients before adding the protein powder. Then add a little bit at a time until the mixture is the perfect consistency for rolling.
Once rolled – pop in the fridge to allow them to set!
If you end up giving these babies a go I’d love to see! Take a photo and tag me on instagram @balancedballerinas
