Delicious cashew, dates and peanut butter protein balls!

Apr 11, 2023

These are DELICIOUS and not overly sweet - which was my goal when I worked on this recipe!

Protein balls are the perfect pre or post class snack. I usually make a batch every fortnight, placing enough for the week in the fridge and enough for the following week in the freezer.

I can confirm the recipe makes 18 (depending on how big you roll them) and only cost about 50 cents each. If you purchase bliss balls or protein balls from the health food store they usually cost $2.95 or more each!

Obviously if you don’t already have some of these ingredients (like protein powder) your initial shop can be expensive. However you can then use the ingredients for months – and protein powder lasts forever!

Simply place all the ingredients in a food processor and blitz!

Once rolled – pop in the fridge to allow them to set.

If you end up giving these a go I’d love to see so take a photo and tag me on instagram @thebalancedballerina

1 cup of cashews

1 cup rolled oats

12 medjool dates

1 scoop chocolate protein powder (at the moment I'm loving the JS Health one!)
