The first two episodes of The Balanced Ballerina Podcast are finally here!

I say ‘finally’ because I’ve been thinking about doing this for a LONG time.

If you’re a massive podcast fan (like me!) you may have also noticed that there was a real gap in the market for accessible conversations about ballet that were not only informative but friendly.

And because I’m all about breaking down those elitist barriers often associated with ballet (and putting my passion for journalism to use) I thought this would be a wonderful project to tackle.

So who is the podcast for?

It’s for ballerinas, parents of ballerinas, adult ballerinas and everyone in between.

You can expect some episodes to be more relatable than others; for example, some will cater towards the adult ballerina whilst others will be aimed at a parent of a budding ballerina…

But basically, the format is informal conversations that hopefully inspire, delight and bring a little more grace and grit into everyones lives.

It would mean THE WORLD to me if you could rate and subscribe on iTunes – of course, only if you found it a good listen!

I’ve also been enjoying everyones screenshots on Instagram of when and where they’re listening to the podcast…

Grit & Grace,
